IT’S ALWAYS THE SAME
“Allowing women to vote is like (insert negative comparison).”
“Allowing Blacks to vote is like (insert negative comparison).”
“Allowing people of different races to marry is like (insert negative comparison).”
“Allowing gays to marry is like (insert negative comparison).”
It’s always the same ignorant language being used to privilege one group over another.

Have you ever heard of something called the Omega wolf? Most people are familiar with the Alpha wolf, but the Omega wolf is critical to the health of the pack, being the one wolf everyone else picks on.
I’ve often wondered if humanity *needs* a group to hate, if there is something in our psyche that needs to look down on someone else to make ourselves feel better. Seems the minute we manage to stop hating one group, another one becomes the target.
