I absolutely agree w/ your interjection. You’ve hit right on the nail head. A lot of your points are true and If I may add to ur comments: A lot of SGL are looking for an M2M ideal. They look for this fairy tale that never show up. They don’t take the time to embrace, cuddle and get close to each other. Therefore, they lack real openly Black gay models; they lack the inner male trust due to a harsh youth or disrupted teen age. Who will show them if they lack understanding what being gay is all about. A previous lost generation that never had a chance to promote their own point of view. A generation lost is the performance instead of understanding its youth. Wow! How stupid this is but so real. (Sorry for my tone)

if you think about it the more gay people get married the less they will be hitting on straight people plus they get a chance to be as miserable as the rest of us (married) people lol!

I think we all need to be really careful here and not just go chucking accusations at each other. I’m not denying there is some effeminaphobia, but I think that androphobia is just as prevelant, maybe more so. I do not fear feminine men or women (yes, i did make the distinction between effeminate and feminine, because i think it is a very important one). Men who are in touch with every aspect of themselves, aggression, creativity, competition, sensitivity etc (we could argue over which is a ‘feminine’ and which is a ‘masculine’ quality, but it really doesn’t matter) are…wow..so attractive, beautiful and HORNY. The same goes for women. However, and it is a massive difference, ‘effeminate’ men are trying to imitate women (badly, offensive in itself, but anyway) they may not even know. Again, i find ‘effeminate’ men really hard company, attention seeking and shallow in my experience, and defo not attractive. Sometimes i think there are many more, no masses more men who are not actually gay, but have a trans-sexuality, but because of transphobia within the gay community, are left unable to explore that possibility. Gay men, and as a consequence gay culture, i’m sorry to say hates men, and still puts us into a suffocating gender binary, butch/femme sub/dom man/woman master/slave fucker/fucked, and on and on and on. I’m much happier away from the gay ‘community’, and free to be myself and not the product of pressure, expectation and internalised trans-homo-phobia. This is a really bad way of putting it but it makes me smile…free to be who me be…uuurrgh..thanks. x
