MEDIATAKEOUT PORTRAYS LGBT AS DANGEROUS OTHER

No one expects Mediatakeout.com of all places to treat anyone with dignity or humanity but it’s always interesting the way they frame their posts involving members of the LGBT community. The posts are always written as if they are speaking of dangerous objects or some lesser humans and not actual human beings worthy of dignity and person hood. What’s sad is that they don’t even know if the woman in question is a transwoman, but instead assumed that she is because of some asinine reason.

Just look at their title for a post about Usher and an encounter with a transwoman:

“GAY FRIENDLY!!! R&B SINGER USHER GETS APPROACHED BY TRANNEY . . . AND HE GAVE HER HIS AUTOGRAPH . . . AND KEPT IT MOVING!!!”

They make such a big deal about the woman being a transwoman and even the fact that Usher gave her an autograph is shocking to them. I suppose they expected him to punch her in the face or ignore her request. And the way they use the term “gay friendly” as if it’s somehow abnormal or unusual to you know be civil human being to a gay person.

And it wouldn’t be Meditakeout.com if they didn’t imply that someone who doesn’t get offended or angry by a transwoman asking them for an autograph is “gay” or suspect”

I mean how dare Usher have the decency to give a transwoman an autograph and not freak out like some insecure and ignorant animal? He is obviously gay.
